This A frame light mount works well if your A frame sign has a lip that the edge can grip onto. The bracket that the light would fit into is also a specific hole distance and size. Make sure that you check the measurements and compatibility of this mount before you buy it.

The bracket is small, relatively light, has a good smooth black finish. It allows mounting light or some other light load to the edge of some board. I would say it is simple, durable and functional.The listing has two images, one showing the technical drawing of a bracket in millimeters and another shows a board with a large 2" thick caption. I had a need to clamp it to a 2" wide board, however, the bracket can only be attached to 1 3/4" or thinner boards. Indeed, the technical drawing showing 46mm opening is 1 3/4", not the full 2" as shown on another image. Beware if you need to clamp it to a wider piece.The end of the tightening screw is relatively sharp and will dig into whatever board you're clamping it to. I wish it had some sort of a flat piece that would spread the pressure. You can use a penny to put between the screw and the piece, but the bracket could be designed to cover the end of the screw.Overall, the bracket can be useful to temporarily attaching light loads to an edge of some board. However, the misstated width in the listing didn't allow me to use it as intended. Beware.
