Before you install (most important)
Charge the solar panel in direct sunlight for 6–8 hours before first use, then mount where the panel gets maximum sun and the light sensor won’t be affected by porch lights or headlights.

Pre-installation tips
- Pre-charge in direct sunlight before installing.
- Choose a mounting location with maximum sun exposure.
- Keep the solar panel unobstructed (no branches/overhangs).
Tools you may need
- Screwdriver or power drill (depending on surface)
- Wrench (to secure brackets)
Choose your mounting method
Wall mount: secure bracket to wall, then attach light.
Ground stake: attach stake to fixture for landscape installs.
Pole mount: use extension pole for height + coverage (if included).
Aim the light
Adjust the fixture angle to fully illuminate your sign face. Tighten all connections so nothing shifts.

Make sure the solar panel faces the sun and isn’t blocked. Better sun = brighter nights.
Charging tipsFinal check at night
At night, confirm the area around the sensor isn’t being hit by porch lights or headlights which can prevent turn-on.
Common fixesOperating Instructions
Charging
The solar panel charges the battery during daylight. For full charging, aim for 6–8 hours of direct sunlight. After a full charge, it can operate up to 5 nights.
Dusk-to-dawn
The light turns on automatically at dusk and turns off at dawn to begin charging. If it doesn’t turn on, check nearby artificial light exposure.
Best positioning
- Maximize direct sunlight on the panel.
- Avoid shade throughout the day.
- Keep sensor away from headlights/porch lights at night.
Cleaning & care
- Wipe the solar panel every few weeks with a soft damp cloth.
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- During long cloudy periods, charging may be reduced.
Troubleshooting (Fast Fixes)
Light not turning on
Confirm the unit is charged, ensure full sun exposure, and relocate away from nighttime artificial light that can confuse the sensor.
Shorter lighting time
Usually caused by weak daytime charging (clouds/shade). Clean the panel and move to stronger sun.
Flickers or turns off early
Check for obstructions and clean the panel. Make sure the unit is securely mounted and stable.
Doesn’t seem to charge
Ensure the panel isn’t shaded and gets direct sunlight. If the issue persists, contact support.
